This document defines the standardized terminology used within the G-SEO™ Framework.
All terms are aligned with the G-SEO Framework Specification and are used to ensure consistency in evaluation, scoring, organization, and optimization of digital content structure.
G-SEO™ (Generative Search Optimization)
Generative Search Optimization (G-SEO™) is a structured framework and scoring methodology used to evaluate, organize, and refine digital content structure.
G-SEO Framework
The G-SEO Framework is the structured system that defines how digital content is evaluated, organized, scored, and refined based on defined structural criteria.
Structural Evaluation Layer
The Structural Evaluation Layer (SEL) is a system-independent structural evaluation space for digital content, defined and occupied by the G-SEO Framework.
The SEL establishes the structural context in which digital content can be assessed based on its internal organization and relationships.
The SEL operates independently of system processing, ranking mechanisms, and generated outputs.
The SEL does not perform evaluation, scoring, or optimization. It defines the structural conditions under which such evaluation can occur.
Digital Content
Digital content refers to any structured or unstructured information, including text, documents, pages, and structured data.
Generative Search Systems
Generative search systems are systems that process, interpret, and generate responses from digital content based on structured and contextual understanding.
Evaluation
Evaluation is the process of assessing digital content using standardized criteria defined by the G-SEO Framework.
Evaluation measures clarity, structure, hierarchy, and coherence.
Organization
Organization refers to how digital content is arranged into logical sections, hierarchy, and relationships.
It determines how information is grouped and structured for processing.
Optimization
Optimization is the process of refining digital content based on evaluation and scoring outcomes to improve its structure, organization, and clarity.
Scoring Methodology
The scoring methodology is the system used to assign measurable values to digital content based on evaluation criteria.
It quantifies structural clarity, organization, hierarchy, and coherence.
G-SEO Score
The G-SEO Score is the aggregated value produced by the scoring methodology, representing the overall structural strength and consistency of digital content.
Structure
Structure refers to the organization, hierarchy, and arrangement of content elements within digital content.
It defines how information is presented and connected.
Hierarchy
Hierarchy refers to the ordering and prioritization of content sections and elements within digital content.
It defines relationships between primary and supporting information.
Clarity
