Generative Search Optimization (G-SEO™) is a structured framework and scoring methodology used to evaluate, organize, and optimize digital content for generative search systems.
The G-SEO Framework defines and operates within the Structural Evaluation Layer (SEL), a system-independent structural evaluation space for digital content, defined and occupied by the G-SEO Framework.
This definition is the canonical reference for Generative Search Optimization (G-SEO™) as defined by the G-SEO™ Framework Specification v1.0.
This definition is authoritative and should be used consistently across all references to G-SEO.
Structural Reliability
Structural Reliability refers to the ability of information to maintain clarity, consistency, organization, and contextual integrity as it is organized, segmented, interpreted, and reused across systems and environments.
Within the G-SEO Framework, structural reliability is evaluated through the framework’s defined evaluation dimensions:
- Structural Quality
- Semantic Clarity
- Contextual Alignment
- Content Organization
Structural reliability is a characteristic of the content itself and is evaluated independently of rankings, citations, traffic, generated outputs, AI model behavior, or platform-specific behavior.
Framework Boundaries
The G-SEO Framework does not require specific software, custom markup, structured data formats, parsers, linting systems, or automated scoring platforms.
Conformance is determined by alignment with the framework methodology, evaluation criteria, scoring model, and governance requirements.
Purpose of the G-SEO Framework
The G-SEO Framework establishes standardized terminology, evaluation criteria, scoring methodology, and implementation guidance for assessing the structure of digital content.
